What is a blog, and why does it matter?
Blogging is a stream of content, produced by someone at your company or a writer you hire, about topics that intrigue your audience. The content has to genuinely interest your prospects and your current customers. Posts should speak to the real concerns of the people you want to reach.
One of the main reasons to maintain a company blog is that Google ranks your site partly on how dynamic it is. You can’t set a website and forget it. A site needs to be an ongoing conversation with people at every stage of your sales funnel.
That funnel holds four groups: people just becoming aware of your product, people beginning to engage, people getting ready to act, and people buying. You have to write for all of them. Someone ready to act wants an offer. Someone who just discovered you wants to know what you stand for.
Blogging Frequency and Length
Most small businesses see gains if they blog at least once a month. Weekly is better.
A post doesn’t have to be an essay. It can be images with commentary, a short video with context, an 800-word lesson relevant to your industry, or a photo of the team at the company party. Variety keeps it sustainable, and sustainable is what matters — an abandoned blog signals more than no blog at all.
How We Help
Beyond Brand Collective will help you plan your topics for the year and teach you how to write your posts. We will also show you how to use your blog to build your visibility in search engines and in AI assistants like ChatGPT and Gemini, which increasingly decide who gets recommended.
Or we can manage the whole thing for you. When we do, you sit back and watch the rankings and inquiries build. It really does work, but it works through consistency rather than brilliance.
Pricing
Blog posting varies in price based on the topics we write about and how often you publish. We’ll quote once we understand what you need.
